Somerville Housing Authority to redevelop Clarendon Hills, 500 units of market, middle and public housing

City officials are moving forward with a proposal to redevelop Somerville Housing Authority’s Clarendon Hills with more than 500 market rate, middle income and public housing units. The SHA picked a bid from a Maxwell’s Green developers Gate Residential, which is teaming up with affordable housing developers Somerville Community Corporation (SCC) and the Boston-based Preservation of Affordable Housing (POAH) on the 34 North St. project.
